Notes from the coach
The camp runs from 10am - 2.00pm at Woodthorpe Tennis Club, NG5 4FE. The camp is only open to players who have shown commitment to competition. The camp will be run by Matt Wildt and Carl Saxby both LTA, Senior Performance Coaches. The day will involve: 10:00 - 10:15 Sign in and welcome 10:15 - 10:45 Physical warm up, team games 10:45 - 11:45 Technical training focused on serve, return and forehand 11:45 – 12:00 Break Lunch (player are required to bring their own lunch) 12:00 – 12:30 Video analysis 12:30 - 12:50 Lunch 12:50 - 14:00 Tactical development along with ratings matches and doubles. Requirements: Players will need a packed lunch, tennis clothing and a few extra drinks.
