Notes from the coach

This tennis camp aimed at 5-8yr olds can cater for all experiences of tennis. It is being ran by our three LTA Level 4 coaches, Matt Wildt, Carl Saxby and Chris McGill. Their combined experience can guarantee your child will improve and have a great experience of tennis. Players will be split up into three groups based on age and experience. The camp will run 9am-2pm and is guaranteed to be running regardless of the weather as we are running it on 4 indoor badminton courts at Ravenshead Leisure Centre. This camp run from 9am-2pm. 9-9.15am: Welcome and Sign In ​9.15-9.45am: Warm Up and Physical activities to work on children's movement patterns 9.45-10.15am: Technical training on forehand 10.15-10.30am: Break 10.30-11.15am: Technical development of Serve 11.15-11.20: Break 11.20-12pm: Technical training on backhand 12-12.30pm: Lunch 12.30-2pm: Tactical drills and points to develop skills learned in morning sessions
