Quorn Family Cup

4 Pairs .... Lawrence+Olivia Marshall, Lucy+Bea Alcorn, Steve+Eleanor Hart, Becky+Oliver Shepard-Andrews. 

Becky and Oliver took the title. 

It was a highly competitive day (for the adults), with some tense hitting (from the adults) and superb gamesmanship (from the kids!). Some of the adults resorted to alcohol early on, only to learn (or be reminded) that it really isn’t the answer! Skill and determination came through on the day, with a well deserved win for In It To Win It.

We had 6 girls, all from Oundle, battling it out to make the County Finals at this years Road to Wimbledon event. 

I was very impressed with the standard of play as all matches were highly competitive and played with true sportsmanship. We were lucky with the weather and had a good crown turn out. 

Isabella Baird took the title, winning all of her matches with Evie Simpson coming a close second, having only lost 1 match all day.
