It has been great to see some of our Junior Squad taking part in tennis competitions.  Here's a round-up of what they have been up to recently:

Mini Red

Lilly and Levi played their first Red Mini League competition and after all the matches had been played they finished 3rd out of 7 teams taking part.  Well done, Levi and Lilly, you make a great team.

Mini Orange

Emmeline, Noah and Will have all being playing in the Orange Mini League at the Shrewsbury Club.  They have been fantastic at representing Wem Tennis Club against teams from all over Shropshire.

Under 11s and 12s

Nathan, Oscar, Sam and Morgan have all been playing for Wem Tennis Club in Under 11 and Under 12s matches at Ellesmere College and the Shrewsbury Club.  They have all made a fantastic effort to represent the Wem and play some brilliant tennis.   In his latest Under 12s match at Ellesmere, Sam was runner up.

Shropshire National League 2021

Nathan, Oscar and Sam have also been taking part in the Shropshire National League 2021 with matches all over the county.  Well done boys!

All the children who have taken part in tournaments have seen a real improvement in their tennis.  Playing matches really puts their new skills to the test and this is something we are really keen to develop at Pace Tennis in 2022 and beyond.  If your child is interested in playing matches and representing their local tennis club, please get in touch.
