The Ladies Baldwin Competition, scheduled for Sunday 15th September, had to be rescheduled because of inclement weather.

8 ladies entered the competition, which ran over the following 2 evenings. The winner of each section to play in the final. 

The weather on both evenings was perfect, with plenty of sunshine and only a light breeze.

Pictured above are Tuesday’s competitors, left to right, Janette Buckley, Julia Cockroft, Cathy Winterbottom and Nicole Britton who enjoyed ‘a very active eve of singles’.

Calderdale League Secretary, Chris Williams, ran the event for Park.
