Congratulations to Dominic Simpson, this year's 2024 Gents Baldwin Champion!

The first-to-six final started well. Dominic broke Jordan Hoyle's serve to lead 4-2, but the heavens opened up, the courts puddled, and play had to stop.

With good old Yorkshire grit, both finalists continued to play the following day.  Jordan won one more game, but Dominic broke again and sealed his victory with a 6-3 win.

Margaret Bottomley, Chair, said, Congratulations to both winners, Helen Doherty and Dominic, and a massive thank you to Chris Williams, League Secretary, for running both events and giving up so much of his time to beat the weather and see the competitions finished.
