Due to poor weather at the end of last year, Park’s 2022 Handicapped Baldwin Trophy competition was delayed until June of this year.

It was a hot, dry day for the final and humidity was high.  With one full set to decide the winner, the courts were playing firm and fast - ideal conditions for runner-up, Marilyn, as she led 4-2 following a break of serve in the third game.

However, with some slick slicing, powerful ground strokes and a bucket full of grit and determination, Cathy Winterbottom paved her way back to victory by winning the next four games.
