At the beginning of January, the wrong kind of snow began to fall, and with freezing temperatures and high winds, the snow soon became compacted. The compacted snow created ice pools and posed a significant risk to members wanting to venture out of their homes.  Even Peggy, one of Park's many mascots, found the great outdoors a bit of a no-go area as she eagerly leapt out of the door one snowy morning, and quickly leapt back in again to the comfort of her own home.

Some members gave the snow a miss this year, opting for a bit of sunshine instead:
