Aged 13-16? Interested in tennis coaching and volunteering at your venue? The Tennis Leaders course is for you. 

The Tennis Leaders award begins with a 5-hour course including:

- Tennis basics

- Variations of the game to introduce to all ages/abilities

- Communication and organisation skills

- On-court drills

- Hitting sessions and feeding skills. 

On completion of the course, all participants will be given opportunities to volunteer on a weekly basis at their venue. As well as qualifying for the Welch Bacc and Duke of Edinnburgh award, Leaders can also record hours on our app to qualify for rewards from Tennis Wales. Furthermore, we offer a Tennis Squad kit package to all those who continue their Leaders journey at our venues and attend Tennis Squad training days. Candidates from other tennis clubs are extremely welcome too, and will be signposted to volunteering opportunities at their own venue.
