What is Physical literacy: Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life. This scientifically backed program will help children and adolescents develop and master the entire physical literacy model along with additional work to assist their sports performance; whatever sport(s) they play. There have been numerous studies published worldwide that link increased physical activity and competency to: Reduced injury risk in sport and everyday life Increased academic standards achieved Improved mental health including: self-esteem, better coping strategies, motivation and body image Improved strength, speed, physical literacy, power, balance and more. Increased bone mineral density, cardiovascular function, strengthened tendons and ligaments and lowered blood pressure
