On a cold and breezy day at Bromsgrove Tennis Club, with heavy on court conditions on the Tiger Turf, Pershore gained a 3-0 win over Bromsgrove LTC in the U12 H&W League. Ollie Ralph, making his first appearance for Pershore, and Toby Atkin battled their opponents to win without dropping a set. Toby won his singles 7-5 & 6-2 whilst Ollie prevailed 6-4 & 7-6, grinding out a 7-5 win in the tie break. The doubles was a little more straight forward with Toby & Ollie winning 6-2 7-5, perhaps the start of a new partnership for the U12’s! 

The standard of tennis was good with some long duelling rallies being cheered on by a cold set of parents watching from the side lines! The win keeps Pershore at the top end of the table. Also, extra thanks to Toby fore 12 & Under Match. stepping in at the last minute due to illness, it was worth the journey!"
