Pershore Tennis Centre are delighted to announce a golf fundraising day to be held on Wednesday 21st September, 2022, from 10:30am.
It comes with the help and support of our two main sponsors:
Hazlewoods (Independent Business Advisors and Chartered Accountants)
Tea/coffee and bacon rolls on arrival at 10:30am, followed by 18 holes of Texas Scramble golf from 11:40am, and a two course meal at 5:30pm.
Venue: The Vale Golf and Country Club
Cost: £50 per person (so £200 for a team of four).
Our sponsors will form two teams each, and we're looking for our tennis club members to make up seven further teams of four to make a total of eleven teams.
After tea/coffee and bacon rolls from 10:30am, tee offs will be staggered from 11:40am through to 1:30pm to allow completion before dinner at 5:30pm.
You don't have to have a golf handicap to play, just an enthusiasm for golf. We will work out a team handicap based on a combination of ability, and your team can be mixed if you want.
In addition to a prize for overall team winner, we want to offer some prizes throughout the round which adds some jeopardy to your round:
Best team score on par 3's.
Best team score on par 5's.
Team with the longest drive.
Team nearest the pin.
Best looking team (only joking)
