"The Ladies A team needed a good result from the last match of the season at home against Camden A to ensure that we stayed in division 2. Fortunately we were able to put out an extremely strong team: Michelle Collings and Rachel Prudden beat 1st pair 6-0, 6-3 then beat 2nd pair 6-0, 6-1; Sarah McCormick and Bev Marsh beat 2nd pair 6-1, 6-1 then beat 1st pair 6-1, 6-0. 

We have finished 4th in the division and avoided relegation by a fairly safe margin in the end. We won 5 of the 10 matches, lost 4 and drew 1 and the whole of the squad of 20 played in at least 1 match.
