Thank you to  Ben's Dad, Xavier, for the latest match report from the weekend's 16 & Under with  the Club's Tom Edwards and Ben Martin:

The boys played their U16 Stourbridge at homethis weekend. It was good day for playing tennis with good weather if a little breezy at times.  Stourbridge looked the stronger team on paper and so it proved. The Stourbridge team of Today McCole (7.1) and Lanwar Parasio (9.1) winning both the singles and the doubles to tale the tie 3-0. 

The games were friendly and while scores were comfortable wins for the Stourbridge boys there were many good points played by the Pershore team of Ben Martin (10.1) and Tom Edwards (9.2). The  doubles was closer with a number of deuce games not the points went the Stourbridge teams way today. It was a good-natured  game and further good experience for the Pershore boys , they were disappointed not to win any of their matches.

Singles Toby McCole beat Tom Edwards – 6-0, 6-0

Lanwar Paraiso beat Ben Martin 6-1,6-0

In the doubles the Stourbridge boys won 6-2, 6-1.
