Dear Tennis Parents/Juniors,
24Hr Tennis Marathon
I'm sure most of you have heard that there are two up and coming fundraising events in February, and I am appealing to you all to sponsor them please, if you haven't already done so of course.
Eight players in total will be representing Pershore Tennis Centre to take part in a 24hr tennis marathon event, organized by Bright Ideas For Tennis, a charitable company who help clubs fundraise.
Two of our older juniors are representing the club, and we hope that you'll want to go online and sponsor each of them directly:

We wish both Bradley and Antony all the best on Sunday 18th February when they'll be rallying non stop in the early hours of the morning with ex Davis Cup Professional Danny Sapsford, and ex Fed Cup Pro Jocelyn Rae!
Two of our coaches will also be representing PTC - Steve Bauer and Mike Langston.
Steve, of course, is our inspirational head coach and we hope you'll want to back him for this challenge too by clicking here to donate.

Instead of donating online, you can add your name and amount to the sheet pinned to the noticeboard in reception at the club.
Our players have a 4 hour slot, 4-8am, in the early hours of Sunday, so it will really test their abilities to be able to say awake as well as hit tennis balls over a net!
Julian's doing a Skydive!
Then, on Wed 28th Feb, everyone's favourite coach, Julian Ramus, will be jumping from a plane and 'hurtling' to Earth doing a Skydive!
A brave man indeed, and a demonstration of what our coaches and players are willing to do for our club - we salute them all!

Both fundraisers, much like the 'Around the World' challenge completed in Dec, are raising money for our resurfacing fund, and in doing so we are trying to make our club the envy of all in the county.
