We're very lucky to have tennis all year 'round at our Club. Sarah and Steve and the rest of the team at PTC are thrilled to have been a part of the project to resurface our courts. Read our latest Press Release first, here :

Pershore Tennis Centre are pleased to announce that that they now have two new artificial clay courts ready for play, the old hard courts were re-surfaced in November with the help of the club’s sinking fund and a £9,000 grant from Severn Waste Environmental Fund. The club chose Tiger Turf Clay Court Pro contracted through Chiltern Sports.

Sarah McCormick, Club Chair at Pershore Tennis Centre said:

Attracting and retaining membership is a constant challenge for all tennis clubs and our club is no exception. We work very hard on our Open Days and promoting ourselves in the local community but we felt we must invest in new facilities to be a desirable club to join. With our five outdoor hard courts approaching the end of their playing life, this was the perfect chance for us to take a new direction with our facilities and change our outdoor court surface. There are a variety of different resurfacing options available to us and a different type of court not only provides a welcome variety in speed of play but also helps us stand out from the crowd. We hope that a different court surface may be the key to getting new feet through the door and onto the court.

Pershore Tennis Centre also boasts 3 indoor courts available either as a member or a non-member. Pershore Tennis Centre boasts the Hereford and Worcestershire Lawn Tennis Association’s Coach of the Year,  Steve Bauer, Disability Program of the Year, Junior Volunteer of the Year for the Club’s Junior Brad Smith, as well as being 'Highly Commended' Club of the Year.
