Please keep sending the team at Pershore Tennis Centre your #tennis news .. we love to hear from you! Here's the latest update from our Centre Manager, Pam :
"Hello everyone
Please read on as there are a number of things I'd like to bring to your attention.
100 Club
The first draw was made last Saturday at the Club Finals: first prize Teresa Cother, second prize Stevie Rennie, third prize Sarah McCormick. It's not too late to join! Please pay £15 to be entered in the next three draws (details on the notice board). The next draw will take place at the Mulled Wine Tournament on Saturday 30 December.
Part time staff needed
Xav is starting Uni so will only be working weekends from now on. I need staff to cover every other Wednesday evening, Friday morning and Friday evening. If you know of anyone who may be interested please ask them to contact me ASAP.
Key holders
May I remind you that there are times when the centre is not manned so if you want to be certain that you can access the centre at all times, please purchase a key from reception.
Lights Automation on Indoor Courts
The system is working now without any issues but I would like to make you aware that the court bookings need to be made in plenty of time as it can take up to 10 minutes for the lights to come on if the booking is made close to the start time. It is best if the booking is made at least 15 minutes before the start time.
Court bookings
All members can book indoor and outdoor courts using the on-line booking system. There is no charge for the outdoor courts but indoor court fees need to be paid at the time of booking. If you have problems registering to use the system please contact me. May I ask that you ensure that your name is shown against the booking, please.
Lost property
There are a number of items that have been left at the centre. The lost property box is situated in the foyer so please check next time you are at the club. Any items that have not been claimed by the end of the month will be taken to one of the local charity shops.
Used tennis balls
Ex-match tennis balls are left in the cupbaord, below the computer in the foyer, for members to use. Old tennis balls should be put in the black dustbins - one is on the indoor courts and the other is situated by the gate to outside court 3/4
Tea towels
The tea towels at the centre are rather old so I would be very gratefiul if anyone has any spare tea towels that they would be willing to donate so I can replace them. Thank you
Thank you for taking the time to read this email
