"On Sunday 7th October Pershore Futures players Matt Sime and Sam Rayner travelled to Staffordshire to play in the Midlands County tour grade 4 u16 doubles event at Draycott sports centre.

The boys went into the event as no 1 seeds, their performance throughout matched up to their seeding, winning the quarter final 4-0 4-0, then the semi final 4-0 4-2.

In the final they took on a pairing from Shropshire , Matt & Sam took the title with a 4-0 4-1 win! It was a super effort on the day , only dropping 3 games across all 3 matches played."
