Adult Coaching

Sodbury TC has a brilliant adult base, and we aim to meet as many of the members needs as possible whether it be team training for the club’s team players, Cardio Tennis for the fitness enthusiasts, Walking Tennis for the players needing lower impact, Group coaching for all levels from Beginners to Advanced.

We aim to provide high quality tennis coaching across the board to help all players reach their potential. But most importantly, to see that tennis is a fun and lifelong game. 

All our coaches hold Lawn Tennis Association (L.T.A.) coaching qualifications, a first aid certificate, a recent police check, and attend regular professional development coaching courses.

Rusty Rackets

Looking to get into tennis or haven't played for a while? This is the session for you! A fun and social coaching session that will help get back into the swing of things or start from scratch - everyone is welcome!

Adult Beginners Coaching 

There are plenty of reasons why you should pick up a racket and start playing tennis.

Tennis is a great form of exercise and an amazing sport. Anyone can play; whatever their motivation or ability, from all communities and backgrounds. At any age and for a whole lifetime, tennis provides physical, social and mental rewards both on and off the court.

Adult Intermediate Coaching

For those who have learnt the basics of the game and want to improve their skills through drills and match play.

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group fitness class with a tennis twist. This tennis workout is open to anyone - all ages and abilities!

Great music, great cardio and great people – what’s not to like? You’ll get to hit lots of tennis balls during your class, build up your skills and work up a sweat. 

You might be wondering, “is tennis good exercise?” - the short answer is yes! Tennis offers a great workout from a cardio fitness perspective as well as working out muscles across your body, from your core to your glutes.
