The finals day on 29 June saw some fine tennis from all participants on a scorcher of an afternoon with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees C.  At the end of play, trophies were awarded to main competition winners and certificates were presented by club president, Amanda Foxton, to winners and runners-up in both main and plate competitions. Thanks go to all entrants for making the tournament a keenly contested competition and for getting all matches played in time. Thanks also to Keith and team for organising the torunament and Finals and to Amanda H and the bake-off team (Daphne, Susan, Mary, Clare, Paula) for providing excellent scones, jam and cream and flapjacks for all to enjoy.
