Several members have suggested we stage a few days away at the the Manor Hotel, Okehampton, Devon. The Manor House hotel is a sports resort hotel with lots of indoor and outdoor tennis, seven golf courses, badminton, squash, indoor bowls, snooker, 10 pin bowling, archery, craft activities, swimming pool, jacuzzi, oh and a bar! I have made some enquiries and despite many dates being booked up I have identified the following dates -- Thursday Friday 29th 30th November and Saturday 1st of December as available for a block booking of circa 20 people. The cost would be £207 per head (with a 5% discount if we get over 16) This includes three nights accommodation in en suite rooms, full board, and free use of all the sports facilities. (We will also have access to the sports facilities from Thursday pm and all day Sunday). As there is a wide range of activities available this can be open to non tennis playing wives, husbands and partners/friends

It should be good fun !

I have provisionally held 20 places in my name as a block booking subject to a firm confirmation of numbers. They will require 25% deposit payable in May. The club won't be involved in the booking process so you will need to pay me and I will pay the deposit payable in May and the total balance which will be payable 8 weeks prior to the trip.
