The annual awards and dance evening was heled on Saturday 10th November  at the Bouverie Hall in Pewsey.

Club members brought a wide range of edibles and drinks augmented by top-quality member made desserts plus wine and real ale. During 'supper' members were entertained by "Miss Chief and the Makers", an excellent covers band. 

Many awards were then presented for the 2018 season which has been one of our most successful yet.  These included trophies for the Club Championships and recognition for league team successes.  Nominations and winners were also announced for Captain of the Year (Paula Tailby), most improved player (James Town) and club member of the year (Jane Watkins).

Members then took to the dance floor, with one or two disco queens making strong cases for dancing awards next year!

At the height of the evening,  an auction of donated prizes saw some marvellous bids been made to benefit the charities chosen this year. A raffle of other prizes completed the fund raising and close to £1,000 was raised overall.

As usual, we would like to thank everyone for coming and making the evening a success.  Big thank-yous go to Mike H for masterminding the event and those members who helped with setting up and tidying up afterwards, presentation of awards, running the auction and raffle and making those desserts!
