The 2017 league season finally finished for Pewsey with the Ladies A team winning their last match on 29th August. The men's B team finished thier season the week before with a fine win placing them at the top of their division.  The full results for the Pewsey teams are as follows:

Men's A - Division 1 - Runners up to Purton A (thanks to Purton recruiting a top county player for the last match vs Pewsey!)
Men's B - Division 3 - WINNERS !!  Promotion to Div 2
Men's C - Divsion 4 - finished in a commendable 3rd place
Men's D - Divison 7 - WINNERS of every match played !! Promotion to Div 6
Men's E - Division 7 - finished in 5h place (walking the alps took priority!)
Men's F - Division 8 - finished 4th, a fine result for the new adult/junior team
Ladies A - Division 3 - finshed in a solid 4th positon
Ladies B - Division 3 - finished 7th and likely to fare better in Div 4 next year
Mixed A - Division 2 - finished 5th in tough company
Mixed B - Division 5 - WINNERS !! Promotion to Div 4

So, three winning teams and one very close runner up, a good season for Pewsey, we have had some good players join Peswey over the last year and good results for the club will encourage more to do so.  Well done to all the playeres who took part in the summer league and a big thank-you to the captains who streered their teams to success.  The usual results charts can be viewed here.
