A great evening of dining, awarding and dancing to Cartwheel Ceilidh Band was had with more than 70 club members taking part.  The evening was extremely well arranged and hosted by Mike Hutchinson, many thanks from all who attended. Mike gave a summary of the club highlights from the year, including tournament and league successes, backed by Martin Wright covering the junior section. Some serious and some not so serious awards were presented to worthy winners, whilst also recognising other nominees and the wide support given by many members to the activities of the club.

On the night, an amazing sum £1,560 was raised for the Prospect House charity through able auctioning of generous prizes, donated by club members, by Philomena Plunkett.  By all accounts no-one went short of food on the night and the pudding and cheese mountain was still being consumed for days afterwards!  We look forward to more fun events.
