Just like a film premier, our fabulously well turned out guests enjoyed red carpet treatement as they arrived at the James Bond Styled Casino Royale evening. Just shy of 40 attendees, young and not so young, enjoyed a great evening of chat, cheese, wine and of course winning and losing lots of playing chips at the Roulette and Blackjack tables.  Prizes were awarded at the end of the evening to those players who had turned the most profit ..... no doubt shortly to be seen on the real casino circuit!  The Casino croupiers provided excellent instruction and entertainment over three hours of non-stop play.  See photos here.

Big club thank-yous go once again to our social event supremo Mike Hutchinson for bringing everything together for the event, with valuable assistance on the day from Kathryn Hutchinson, Amanda (Cheeses) and Keith (donkey work) Hampson. We are also indebted to James Town for sourcing the fine wines and to the Bowls club (Dave Major) for the plush gold and red chairs and kitchenware.
