This was the annual Swindon & District league awards evening where the teams who had won league divisions were presented with trophies. Pewsey TC had four teams collecting awards this year. 

Ten Pewsey TC members attended a very pleasant dinner/awards/ dance evening at the Marlborough Golf Club, soon to be home to the New Marlborough Tennis club. Matt Darvell collected the Division 1 runners-up certificate, Jack Darvell collected the Division 3 Trophy, Mike Barlow collected the Division 7 trophy and Philomena Plunkett collected the mixed Division 5 trophy (see photos).

Honourable mentions also went to Jon Gregory and Martin Wright as the top Division 1 players, Mike Barlow as the top Division 7 player and Philomena as the top Mixed Division 5 player, so a pretty good evening for Pewsey TC.

Amanda and Keith Hampson represented the PTC committee and Malcolm Drinnan, Richard Newport and Jim Plunkett led the cheering. The small scale disco could not really match the PTC Ceilidh evening and many attendees left at that point having collected their trophies.
