2 Current Opportunities with Pin Point Tennis Team

 

1)   Tennis Coach Position - starting June 2019

Pin Point Tennis Team is looking to recruit an enthusiastic self-employed Tennis Coach to aid the growth of our tennis programmes at; Wrecclesham Tennis Club, Four Marks Tennis Club and local schools.

During term time the core of the work will be after school weekday programmes and Saturdays with the opportunity to build day time hours. There is also the opportunity to build hours with holiday camps and our Team Challenge events.

Level 3 coaches will have be able to offer 1:1 lessons at our clubs to the club members. Level 2 coaches will be mentored to achieve their Level 3 to develop as a coach.

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop groups and keep accurate registers.
  • Plan and organise sessions, linking to the term plan set by Head Coach Gemma.
  • Sell and promote our tennis programmes.
  • Help recruit new players to the programmes at Open Days and events as agreed.

 
Person Specification:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification / PTR qualified (or exceptional LTA Level 2 will be considered) 
  • LTA Accredited or Accredited+ with in date First Aid & DBS
  • Self-employed
  • Driving License and Car to travel to venues
  • Cardio Tennis trained would be a desirable but not essential
  • Commitment to coaching at any level
  • Highly motivated and reliable 
  • A desire to develop as a coach with a growth mind set to learning new skills and experiences.
  • Experience of teaching groups of all ages
  • Experience of assisting or running tournaments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player who can work with other coaches and take the lead to work on their own
  • Able to start at the beginning of June 2019

2)   Saturday Tennis Coach Position -  Level 2 or Level 3 - (Part Time)

Pin Point Tennis Team is looking to recruit an enthusiastic self-employed Saturday coach to support our coaching team.

During term time the work will be Saturday mornings 9:15am to 1pm with the possiblity to add extra hours during the week. There is also the opportunity to build hours with holiday camps & tournaments as required.

The successful candidate will:​

  • Sell and promote our tennis programmes.
  • ​Be reliable, motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Help recruit new players to the programmes at Open Days and events as agreed.

  • Minimum Level 2 qualified
