Update 11/6/23

While we have this very hot weather, we regret but we have had to close courts 3 & 4 as they are getting tacky (they are not finished yet). There is a provisional date of Wednesday 28th June for them to be painted. The courts will then be closed for a further couple of days while  they dry. 

On Tuesday 2nd of May, resurfacing work will start on the lower courts 3 & 4.

Work finishes Saturday 13th May   then the courts need to cure for 7 days so will remain closed until and including Saturday  20th May.

During working hours, we recommend parking at the carpark by the level crossing, to avoid meeting heavy machinery and large trucks on the approach track.  Outside of working hours there will only be limited parking by courts 1 & 2 and in the area at the club entrance.

There will be NO parking inside the green gate in front of the clubhouse on 12th/13th May as tarmac will be delivered and laid.

The work on courts 3 & 4, will be in two stages. 

1. Removal of top surface and laying of a new tar macadam surface. 

2. At a later date, courts will be closed for a week, whilst the new surface is painted and allowed to dry. (Date to be advised nearer the time.)

Note: Courts 3 & 4 can be used after tarmac is laid and before full court painting - temporary lines will be painted on a black court.  An additional proviso - courts will be closed if the temperature hits 25C.

Activities usually scheduled for courts 3 & 4 have been moved to courts 1 & 2.  Please check the website NEWS or with the coaches, as some timings have changed to accommodate all users.

Please note Wednesday club session will start at 17:45 on  3rd, 10th  and 17th May following junior coaching.
