Well, what an evening, what an atmosphere!

I think we can safely put this one down to a complete success.

We made a fantastic profit of £2048!

Chilli and all the accoutrements went down very well followed by chocolate ice-cream lollies for dessert. Thanks to Jane & Lynn for cooking the chilli, Ann, Debbie and Lesley for baking all those potatoes and to Sue & Maggie for serving to the tables. A well-oiled machine indeed.

Thanks also to Frazer & Amy who kept the drinks flowing at the bar.

The hampers this year looked spectacular – a big thank you to Chris & Zina for selling so many raffle tickets on the night and to Lesley for putting all the hampers together.

This was all made possible by the generous donations you the members gave us for which we are very grateful as all raffle tickets sold were pure profit.

Many thanks to Ian, Peter, Aiden, Julia & Ashleigh for helping to set up the hall and for organising the tidy up at the end.  Also, the large number of quizzers who stayed behind to clear away the tables and chairs.

And last, but certainly not least - thanks to Nick Satchell for running the Quiz – we really couldn’t do it without him! It was a close-run thing at the end, decided on the last round.
