"A fabulous final match of the season for Pershore Mixed A against the Division 1 champions, Manor Park A.  Steve Bauer and Rachel Prudden made the most of their time on court today with two 3-set wins.  They overcame the first pair 4-6 6-4 7-5 then went on to beat the second pair 2-6 6-2 6-1. Jon Guppy teamed up with daughter Caoimhe in her first, but definitely not last, outing for the A team.  They fought very hard but unfortunately lost 5-7 3-6 to the second pair and 2-6 2-6 to the firsts.  Today's well earned points mean that the team have finished third in the league.
