What can you expect?
At the Green stage, children enjoy playing tennis on a full size court. Coaches will help children to grow their game to play with variety and will continue to improve their tactical awareness whilst refining technique. Children will become more autonomous and accept greater responsibilities.
Notes from the coach
Green development sessions are aimed at players aged 9-10 years. These players have made it through the transition to now playing full court tennis with development green balls. Players at this stage should all be able to serve, rally and score and be keen enough to play regularly outside of structured sessions. Court awareness of positioning and understanding tactical intentions are also enhanced at this stage.
