What can you expect?
At the Orange stage, children learn the rules & scoring to play the game from serve & return. Coaches will support children to grow their motor skills (orientation, hand-eye coordination, running & moving) to play in a dynamic environment. At the Orange stage children will increase proficiency, problem-solving skills & learn sportsmanship.
Notes from the coach
Orange development sessions are aimed at children from ages 7-9 who have passed through the red stage or who are joining us for the first step on their tennis journey. We will teach the basics of technique, grips, swing lines and contact points, as well teaching the game of tactics and scoring of tennis
