What can you expect?
At the Yellow stage, children are now playing on a full size court with the balls the professionals use. Children will continue to explore different game styles and start to find their own. They will evolve through well-rounded motor skills development whilst improving their physical capacities. By this stage, children will be tennis fans for life!
Notes from the coach
Children now use the full tennis ball played over a full court . We work on creating simple repeatable shapes for our groundstrokes with a focus on movement and achieving a good body position . We start to practice more volleys and explore simple doubles and singles tactics to use in matches . A full ball junior class for children who play recreationally . Children develop their strokes and their tactics using simple singles and doubles game based scenarios .
