What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
During the Red Stage children will spend more time improving their rallying skills trying to achieve a rally of 10 with a partner. They continue to develop their sending skills by hitting to different targets over a slightly bigger court. Children learn how to hit an overarm serve and start to practice playing and understanding simple points.
