What can you expect?
At the Orange stage, children learn the rules & scoring to play the game from serve & return. Coaches will support children to grow their motor skills (orientation, hand-eye coordination, running & moving) to play in a dynamic environment. At the Orange stage children will increase proficiency, problem-solving skills & learn sportsmanship.
Notes from the coach
This class is for players aged 8-9. We use orange balls, a reduced full court and lower the net. Here players will develop a rounded game. If they have played red ball they will build on the skills they have leant and if they are complete beginners we will teach them all the basic skills. Please note due to Covid we will operate a drop and go system and parents are not allowed in the bubble or to stay on site.
