24 Hour tennis marathon
Shirley is leading the way in planning a 24 hour tennis marathon in June
The event will be sponsored to raise money to revamp the pavilion. The original pavilion was part funded by a tennis marathon so it seems fitting to do another one to raise funds to replace the kitchen and modernize the building.

Spring Clean
We'll be undertaking a court and pavilion spring clean on 27 April, please come and lend a hand
In the mean time the courts are being professionally cleaned next week and repainted as soon as the temperatures rise a bit.
This is being funded through the club funds, all our facilities can only be maintained and improved thanks to the 100 club. If you're not yet a member please consider joining, it's only £4/month, with a prize draw every month. If everyone who either:
•uses the courts
•has enjoyed tennis at Ribchester
•has kids who use the courts
•thinks that public tennis courts are a good thing
joined the 100 club it will help to secure the facilities in the longer term.

Wimbledon tickets - act now
To register for the Wimbledon ballot click on the link below. The more people who register from the club the more tickets are allocated to Ribchester and the more chance everyone gets to be on telly.

Don't forget social tennis every Sunday, the hardy winter players will welcome us softer players back as winter turns to spring.
That's probably enough for now, but the season is fast approaching, we've entered 4 senior teams, an under 16 and new this year an under 12 team in the Ribble league. We always welcome new members, especially in the junior teams.
