With league action having been wiped out by the lockdown, North Devon LTA have been canvassing clubs for opinions on possible Cup competitions, in view of the easing of restrictions.
We expressed an interest and have entered one ladies' team (Pete Stacey Cup - Divisions 2 and below) and three men's teams (two teams in the Knock Out Cup for divisions 1 and 2 and the remaining one in the Pete Stacey Cup, for Divisions 3 and below). NDLTA have now confirmed as follows:-
MEN'S AND LADIES' DOUBLES:
We are planning to run informal, friendly competitions in both men's and ladies' doubles, as per the usual cup competitions, but using a round robin format. Play will be at weekends, and dates will be given for playing of rounds.
There will be no trophies, no presentations, (and no entry fee), just playing for the challenge of competition and the honour. Results will be posted on the website.

MIXED (HOULDSWORTH CUP):
Unfortunately there was insufficient interest to run this event, but Steve Minall is organising an all-day mixed doubles Tournament on Sunday 4th October. This is primarily for those teams who entered the mixed league this year, but he is opening it up, subject to numbers, to entries from other interested pairs.
If you are interested, please let me know and I will pass this on to Steve.
