JUBILEE WEEKEND PLANS. 

As part of the celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the Club’s weekend mix-in will be held on the Saturday (4th June) rather than the Sunday and followed by an opportunity for members and families to socialise over a BYO picnic (we haven’t had a social for two years due to the pandemic). 

The tennis will run from 10.30 am and the picnic will follow from 12.30.  Although we have a table and a few chairs in the hut, it might be a good idea to bring a rug or something else to sit on with your picnics.

Even if you do not normally come to the mix-ins, do come along for some light-hearted tennis and the picnic.  Or, if you can’t make the morning tennis, why not just come for the picnic to meet up with other members and perhaps stay on for the family “fun day” on the recreation ground during the afternoon, complete with pop-up pub and BBQ.

Rogate Jubilee events include:

• All week.  - Vintage exhibition and floral displays - St Bartholomew’s church*          
• Wed 1 June  6.00 pm -  Jubilee Concert – Rogate Church
• Sat   4 June  7.00 pm  - Party at the Palace – screening on Recreation Ground
• Sun 5 June 11.00 am -  Songs of Praise  -  Recreation Ground
• Sun 5 June  1.00 pm -   Community Lunch -  Recreation Ground

*the Tennis Club will be represented among the floral displays
