The Romsey and Abbey Tennis Club mini-red team has claimed a fantastic win in the recent Team Tennis Hampshire and IOW 2019 tournament. 

Battling against teams from throughout Hampshire, the 8 and under team, consisting of Harry, Olivia, Oliver, Hamish and Lloyd were undefeated throughout. 

The squad, most of whom are only seven, are budding stars under the expert guidance of head coach Mihaly Bukur who was with the team alongside his fellow coach Ross McCulloch. 

Many of the players are already regularly competing successfully in local tournaments and are training a couple of times a week at the club. 

They are part of a fantastic coaching set up at the club catering for children from 3 - 18. As well as the mini-red team, there are also players competing for mini-orange and green teams, as well as in individual tournaments or just playing for fun!
