In blinding sunshine after the rain and floods of Saturday, both pairs of Ross Ladies (Hayley Jackson/June Savidge and Lynn O'Driscoll/Jackie Pelly) battled hard against the hard-hitting opposition and, whilst Lynn and Jackie took their first rubber to a tie-break, they were unable to take the vital points.  

The eventual result was 0-10 and a great match was followed by a lovely lunch in the Pavilion.
