Tony Bowden and Val Davies playing at first pair managed to win both of their matches in straight sets with some excellent net play.  Lynn and Dan playing together for the first time maintained some excellent rallies in their matches, but sadly couldn’t come out on top.  The result was a losing draw for RTC, but everyone enjoyed the fantastic tennis in the sunshine.
