Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and surviving the rain. I'd like to thank our grounds team Joe and Sam for their hard work in keeping the club tidy and jumping on any repairs that need doing quickly. It's particularly important at this time of year when we have a crazy amount of leaves dropping onto the courts. There is some moss killing taking place at the moment so just be aware if you're at the club through the day you may be required to change courts.

Handicap Finals

Thanks to Ann and Camala and everyone else who helped out on the day. Despite a delayed start, all the matches were completed. The full run down of results are:

Ladies Singles: Kate Hill beat Sarah Gooding 6-4, 6-1

Men's Singles: Richard Fraser beat Bradley Keith 6-3. 6-4

Ladies Doubles: Elaine Abiss and Kate Hill beat Judith Lowe and Helen Mitchell 3-6, 6-1, 6-4

Men's Doubles: Walter Leser and Phil Rixham beat Angus Orde and Nick Poulter 6-0, 3-6, 6-4

Mixed Doubles: Helen Mitchell and Imran Tabassum beat Kathy Horne and John Truss 6-3, 6-4

Well done to everyone who entered the tournament and congratulations to all the winners who of course have their names on the winners board in the clubhouse!

Wimbledon Ballot

Don't forget to opt in for WImbledon tickets - even if you don't want to go it makes it easier for people who do want to attend. You can do this by logging into your profile on the LTA website.
