The front hedge is maturing but we still have ongoing weeding challenges, directly below the front hedge This requires continual weeding 4-5 times a year in an area which is difficult to access. The proposal is to undertake works which eliminates the weed growth. We believe that by raising the edging with metal edging or timber sleepers would allow us to put more soil around the hedges and then distribute bark to suppress weeds. A weed barrier would be installed under the bark.

Lots of the work will be undertaken by a landscape company but we’d love your help when the time comes to install the weed barrier, spread the bark layer and plan lobelia and similar plants to cover the front edge.
