Whistlestop tennis came to Seaton on 29th April with a friendly mixed doubles tournament to act as a warm-up for impending league matches.

Winners played with losers and losers played with winners in timed ten-minute tie breaks. Each started and finished with a blast of the whistle, with players having a different partner every game.

Great fun was had by the 30 club members who took part, with no second serves and no let serves adding to the challenge. Teresa Hancock and Donna Moss tied equal 1st for the Ladies with an average of 15.25, while club coach Kevin Davis was crowned Men's winner with an impressive average score of 18.25 points.
