Notes from the coach

Members can book 7 days ahead with places limited on a first come first served basis. The evening will start at 6pm with a 10 minute warm-up and then run with timed games every 25 mins and sudden death deuces - using the American format to mix people. Until grass courts open, we can only accommodate up to 20 to be covid secure, however if we get 12 or 16 we can work with that. The sessions start at 6pm and end at 8pm and we will need volunteers to take turns with on-night organising - timing the 25 minute games (players finish the point they’re on when time is up) and making sure people move on in the right order after each game (losers move left and right - winners stay and split, with the right-hand player moving across the net). Please only sign up if you are definitely coming and can stay the full time - as we must fill the courts to make it work.
