To celebrate a summer of great coaching sessions for adults, juniors and minis, South Creake Tennis Club hosted an end of season tennis party on Saturday 15th September. Despite the threatening clouds, the weather remained warm and dry and there was an excellent turn out.

Coach Richard Smith arranged one mixed age group, fun coaching session, where everyone had a chance to knock some balls around together and a highly competitive game of children versus adults knock out (the adults were clearly the ones feeling they had most to prove).

This was followed by a lot of food brought by everyone to share, including Shane Tuck's  unforgettably delicious chocolate cake, all washed down by tea and squash courtesy of club founders Alison and Rodney Wakeman.

It was agreed by all present that it would be great to start the season of 2019 with a similar event … who doesn’t love a party (especially with cake)?
