Josh Barrett has recently joined the Club and will be starting a new coaching programme from the 7th September. Please find a few words from Josh below.

Hello Everyone!

I am a fully qualified LTA Level 4 Senior Coach.  After 12 years of coaching at the Portmouth Tennis Academy, being involved in the development of all aspects of the coaching programme, I have decided to make the leap and set up my own coaching business based at Southsea Tennis Club.

I started playing tennis at the age of 12 and never looked back. After finishing secondary school I decided to play and compete full time at Portsmouth Tennis Academy. To help with the expense of playing full time I picked up a few coaching hours, and the rest is history.  

I have been a full time coach for over 10 years,  have worked with players from grassroots to national level competing juniors and enjoy working with all players from tots tennis and jnuior performance players to adults of all ages and abilites.

I am available for Individual Lessons 6 days a week Monday - Saturday.
