Following the government announcement that restricted tennis is now permitted, subject to specific guidelines, we are pleased to re-open our courts to the public.
Please note:
- Court booking (Courts 1-6) is online only. The Pavilion Clubhouse is closed.
- Players must provide their own tennis equipment
Now take your time to read the Guidelines for Restricted Tennis by Members of the Public below.
- Both singles and doubles play is now permitted with people from outside of your household – meaning that four people from different households can now play doubles.
- The latest LTA guidelines do not state that players need to use their own clearly marked balls. However, if using shared balls, remember advice about avoiding touching your face as much as possible.
- When you change ends do so at opposite ends of the net.
- Courts must be booked online.
- Ensure you leave the court before the end of your alloted time so that it is empty for the next players.
- Observe social distancing of 2 metres at all times whilst playing and on leaving the court area.
- Follow public health guidelines for hygiene before you set out to play tennis. Use a sanitizer whenever possible.
- Do not play if you are self-isolating.
And please stay at home if you or someone you live with has had symptoms of Covid-19 or is in the most vulnerable category or advised to shield from the Coronavirus.
ALL MEMBERS AND PLAYERS PLAY AT THEIR OWN RISK
