Southwell Tennis Club is a friendly and lively members’ club set in the beautiful War Memorial Recreation Ground, adjacent to Southwell Minster.  It must be one of the most wonderful settings for a tennis club in the county. Over the coming months I should like to tell you more about the club.

Social Tennis

Each week players of all standards and all ages get together and enjoy social sessions.  Those lucky enough to have free time during the day meet on Monday and Friday mornings at 10.00.  For those with daytime commitments social tennis takes place on a Monday evening from about 6pm.  We play mixed, ladies and men’s doubles depending on numbers. 

For players who want to play in competitions the club has teams in the Notts summer and winter leagues.
