On 7th February, members of St John’s entered Tunbridge Wells Town Hall with some trepidation. We were attending a meeting of the Borough Council’s Planning Committee. It was nail-biting, but after nearly two years of hard work and an hour and a half of speeches and rollercoaster deliberation, we were awarded planning permission for the two new courts project. Celebrations took place in the pub afterwards.

Thanks go to the Development Team and to all those who have supported this project. It is going to mean so much to the future of the St Johns Tennis Club and to our tennis community in general. A new era begins.
